Lovely Day is an elegant and industrial large-capacity venue in the Longfellow Neighborhood of Oakland, California (near MacArthur BART).

As a former catering company and restaurant, we are proud to have our own expertly-staffed industrial kitchens on site for venue rentals, capable of serving up to 10,000 meals per day at full capacity.

We are pleased to serve a full bar of cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic mocktails under our ABC Type 47 liquor license.

Amplified music is allowed late at our venue.

For weddings, receptions, birthdays, classes, concerts, dinners, conferences, media shoots and so much more — you’re warmly welcomed to rent our venue space and host your own unique imaginings at Lovely Day.
