  • Lovely Day Indoor Space Capacity is 80 standing, 100 seated theater, or 60 seated dining.

    Your rental includes the use of The Courtyard, an outdoor space centered around a 90-year-old Black Acacia tree surrounded by a stone patio and freshly renovated garden.

    Courtyard Capacity is 200 standing, 250 seated theater, or 150 seated dining.

    Total Rental Capacity (Lovely Day Indoor Space + The Courtyard) is 280 standing, 350 seated theater, or 210 seated dining.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – $1500

    Thursday & Sunday – $2000

    Friday & Saturday – $2500

  • All terms regarding deposits and cancellations are handled directly through a signed, customized event contract. Because policies may vary depending on the event type (e.g., corporate gathering, wedding, or social party), you will need to review your specific contract with the venue management team for guidance.

  • We require that our clients may need to hold a certificate of insurance that meets our specific requirements. This can be obtained either through the client’s insurance company or by purchasing one-day event insurance. Your own vendors and caterers must provide their own certificate of insurance for any services conducted in our venue.

  • As the contract signer, you must have your own event insurance to cover liability for anyone you allow in the venue. Lovely Day can refer you to a reputable and reasonable day-of-event insurance provider.

  • We have excellent relationships with many top Bay Area vendors.

  • Lovely Day rental includes 6-foot banquet tables (5), High Cocktail tables (5), 60-inch seated rounds (4), 48-inch seated rounds (3), basic white resin padded chairs (60) and premium black table linens. 85 inch 4K LCD TV / stand with wheels.

  • The venue will designate a space within the rented facility for your team along with other vendors to store necessary items. This ensures there are no last-minute issues with vendors and that your final floor plan takes into account everyone’s needs.

  • Access to our kitchen is based on availability.

  • Rental blocks are typically 6 hours, which includes 2-hour load-in/set up, 3-hour event, one-hour load out. If your event needs additional time, please ask us about rates. For larger events, we may allow rentals and heavy items to be dropped off prior to the event if space is available.

  • Street parking is available in and around Lovely Day.

  • Each client may create directional signs for guests using the client company’s logo (if permitted). Within the main footprint of the building, clients have the option of displaying a logo on the main AV monitors. The client must provide a laptop with images on file for each of these monitors.

  • Event times are negotiable depending on availability. The latest load-out time is one hour after the event ends.

  • All load-ins must enter through our main building entrance at 4629 Martin Luther King Jr. Way & 47th Street, Oakland.
